Living on a houseboat is a different type of experience.  Shasta Lake has an area of a little under 47 miles.  There are many locations on the lake to stop and swim around while living on a houseboat.  The houseboat has an outdoor and indoor kitchen, depending on the size of boat there are sperate bedrooms, living room, and most exciting jacuzzi on the third level. Couple of days on a houseboat is an experience you will never forget.
